DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION – HEAVY CIVIL
Fusco Personnel is partnering with a well-established commercial construction firm to identify a Director of Construction for a direct-hire opportunity. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this leadership role will oversee construction operations, project teams, safety, scheduling, and financial performance while driving operational excellence and continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead construction operations, project managers, superintendents, and support staff.
- Oversee project execution, CPM scheduling, budgets, safety, quality, and client relationships.
- Drive operational improvements, workforce development, and process efficiency.
- Support contract negotiations, subcontractor management, and project financial performance.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of construction/project management experience with 7+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction, CPM scheduling, contracts, budgeting, and safety.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Sage, Construction Link, and Microsoft Office preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
