DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION

ALBANY, NY

Fusco Personnel is representing a confidential client in the search for a seasoned construction leader to oversee a diverse portfolio of industrial development and capital improvement initiatives. This position will provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from early planning and budgeting through construction and final turnover.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple industrial construction and facility improvement projects.
• Partner with contractors, design professionals, vendors, utility companies, and local authorities.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, bids, contracts, and change orders.
• Oversee site work, infrastructure, permitting, inspections, and project coordination.
• Monitor safety, quality, costs, schedules, and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot field and construction issues and ensure projects are properly documented and closed out.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction management, industrial development, or related field.
• Proven experience managing complex commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, site development, and building systems.
• Ability to interpret architectural, civil, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Experience with industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or logistics facilities preferred.
• Strong financial, organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD experience a plus.

Compensation: up to $150,000 annually + competitive benefits package.
