Description
HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
Fusco Personnel is searching for an HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with employees, supervisors, and management and will be an important resource for employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, and workforce support.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource to employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, benefits, attendance, and employment matters.
- Support employee relations activities, including documentation, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
- Assist with hourly and salaried recruiting, interviews, background checks, pre-employment requirements, and candidate communication.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Partner with payroll on timekeeping, pay changes, deductions, and related issues.
- Maintain a visible presence throughout the operation and promote positive employee engagement.
- Support safety-related HR activities, return-to-work processes, and workforce readiness.
- Help ensure HR practices are consistent with company policies, applicable employment laws, and labor requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a four-year degree.
- 1–3 years of HR experience, including internship, HR coordinator, or other employee-facing experience.
- Understanding of fundamental HR practices and employment regulations.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with employees and management in a hands-on operational environment.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus.
Salary: $75-90k (based on experience)
